Happy Friday! I hope
all of you have had a fab week, as usual it was hectic for me, but a good
hectic. I feel like I'm getting so much done before Ayden gets here and I'm
hoping to have my new site up by next week, so stay tuned for a whole new look
to the blog.
Anyway, I
haven't brought you guys a beauty blog in a while and planned on actually
doing a fall favorites video on my YouTube channel next week, but until that
time comes lets talk makeup brushes. For quite some time I have been looking

Loving Myself For Me!
Hi
Ladies & Gents,
It’s
amazing how time goes by. I can’t believe that I have less than 3 months for
Ayden to get here. Usually women that are pregnant cringe at the thought of the
pounds they pack on and would some how have to lose it after the baby arrives,
I can’t say I’m that type of girl. I’m not going to lie I am a little nervous
that I weigh more now than when I gave birth to Annabelle, but I do plan on
working out and getting in the best shape of my life, not for vanity reasons ,
but to be healthy for my children. I need all the energy I can get when Ayden
comes along. I wear many hats so it’s important to stay healthy for my family.
I have always been tiny and tried many things to gain some type of weight, but
nothing worked for me besides working out and gaining muscle, and I didn’t do
that after Annabelle, so being a working mom and breastfeeding I lost all my
baby weight and actually a little more and as most women tend to be I was uncomfortable
with how I looked.
Some
women that are reading this are probably wanting to go through the computer and
punch me, but until you are in someone’s shoes you can’t tell them how to feel
about their body. I am a Latina who has been surrounded by voluptuous women her
whole life and that was embed in my mind as beautiful and not a skinny girl like
myself. Do not get me wrong there are days I love having long skinny legs, but
other days I wish I had a Jlo butt, lol. Let’s just face it we all are never really satisfied with our bodies, but I have come
to love myself for who I am and the exterior can always change. Right now I
weigh the most I have ever weighed and I am ok with that because it’s worth
every pound to bring my son into this world.
With
that said I look at these pictures and see a beautiful hard working mom and
wife and I also see that when I look in the mirror, so love yourselves ladies
regardless if you are not at the weight you want to be at the moment, because
there is somebody that loves you whether you are skinny or thick. I hope you
feel empowered today and beautiful because you are.

Sponge Animals by Spongelle
Hi Ladies & Gents,
So as most of you know it was a crazy weekend for me. Saturday we had our family maternity shoot/ Annabelle's 2nd birthday shoot. I was a little nervous about the weather because it poured rain, but it end up being a perfect day and Annabelle did so well with her pictures. Go check out my instagram @Ravenfashion for some sneak peak pictures. Also this weekend was my baby reveal party and I'm so excited to announce we are having a baby boy, ahhhhhh I love saying that. It was a beautiful day with family and friends and I'm so happy I can finally talk to my little Ayden and say his name. Stay tuned for a blog post on all the details of our beautiful reveal party.
Though it was a crazy weekend, the one thing that is always constant is my down time during Annabelle's bath time . She absolutely loves this part of the night, to the point she asks for a bath and pulls me toward the tub. With that said, I was excited to add a new friend to her bath. Spongelle sent us this adorable animal sponge and Annabelle loved it.

Fall Maternity Look
Hi Ladies & Gents,
Happy Tuesday! I cant believe this weather in New Jersey, its like it literally went from hot to cold climate in a day. As much as I like the fall fashion, I hate cold so I'm not feeling the change at all.
Anyway I had the opportunity to check out the Alison Brod Holiday preview event last week and it was so much fun. I'll be sharing all the goodies from the event and whats to come from some brands this holiday season on my you tube channel, but for now Ill share with you what I wore to the event.
I went for a casual but still flirty fall look. I don't know about any of you, but I love fall colors and love pairing them together. I have to say I think my go to color will be olive green because it goes great with about anything and looks fab on my skin tone.
This look was a very affordable and quick and easy to throw together which makes this mommy very happy. If you have been following me for a while you know I love to mix price points, though I love high fashion your girl also loves a good bargain. The boots were less than $40 and look so amazing on. I'm obsessed with the site PublicDesire because they have amazing shoes at perfect price points.

Fall Neutrals
Hi Ladies &Gents,
Happy Friday everyone, I hope you guys are having a great week thus far. So now that I am much better I can share with you guys some looks I shot a couple months ago with Dee Guerreros of Deeshoots.com
We wanted to give you great looks shot differently, so I hope you guys like the way we shot this look and more to come. It actually worked out that I didn't post these looks when I took them because they are perfect for the Fall. The best part is that this whole look is very affordable. Pretty much the whole look is from Forever21 besides the necklace which you can pick up at Macys , the bag is from Sorial which I'm obsessed with. The shoes are from shoedazzle and not available, but I did link some different style options for you guys down below.
What I love about this look is that you can totally take it from day to night by just switching out the accessories, either way its an effortless look that you can bring into different seasons. I hope you like this look as much as I do.
