Raven Fashion: Lucky Fabb Recap (Day 1 & 2)

Hi Ladies and Gents

I hope everyone had a great day today, I know I have been slacking when it comes to blogging, but being 12 days from my due date I have been preparing my home for the baby and just outright exhausted. I promised myself that I would write my review on Lucky FABB today, tired or not. So lets get started, I originally wasn't going to attend Lucky FABB , but knew I would be upset with myself if I didn't. For those of you that don't know what Lucky FABB is, it is a fashion and beauty conference held in NYC as well as LA once a year for two days. The conference is a great way for Bloggers such as myself and brands to connect as well. Ill break down both days for those of you that missed it and you can decide if you will go to the next one, I can say I will definitely will attend again. I was so excited to meet bloggers that I follow as well as follow me on social media sites and of course to see the panels as well. I went to the conference with Melissa blogger of http://sweetstylesbymelissa.blogspot.com/ She was the best at making sure I was comfortable the whole time and she just cracks me up.I created new relationships with bloggers so for those of you looking to network make sure you go to the next one.

As for my outfit choices I normally will know what I'm going to wear to an event way in advance, but being 9 months pregnant it was a little more difficult. I had to think about comfort and still look fabulous. My choices worked out in the end and I got a lot of compliments on each outfit. I chose a more casual look for the second day because I planned on going to a Lulus fashion blogger meet up after a long day at the conference. When I saw that Eva Mendes was one of the speakers I was super excited because I'm Latina and I always loved her style. She was cute and real with her answers . You can tell she is just a genuine person and so humble. She was wearing pieces from her own collection at New York & Company.

At one point She took someone's scarf and wrapped it as a turban. Loved it!

DAY 2

Day 2 was so much different from the first day because it was held in the Conde Nast building... by the way it is the same building as Vogue making it very restricted which I honestly wasn't thrilled about. Some of the speakers were entrepreneurs like the founders of Polyvore and Warby Parker which I got to see. There was also a break out for Photography and Beauty. Though I enjoyed each session, I preferred day one because I felt there was more networking involved. Either way I had a great time and can't wait for the next time.
