Annabelle's Dedication

I hope all of you are having a fabulous week. So two weeks ago I had
my daughter's dedication and I was so

excited for the day. It's always special to have family and friends get together to celebrate life and love. Unfortunately my poor baby was sick and teething really bad, so I didn't get much pictures with her, but i did put her back in her dress this weekend and took some amazing shots.

I planned on having a big party with family and friends, but my husband and I decided to keep it low key and have just immediate family and a few close friends celebrate at a Spanish Restaurant, which turned out to be a good decision since she was sick. I felt bad that she was sick so I didn't push for pictures but still the day was amazing.

So lets get to the fashion! I already knew that I wanted to get Annabelle's dress from Lmmboutique, they take custom orders!! They created the most amazing dress, headband and shoes for Annabelle's special day. I actually took her dress and shoes and have them displayed in her nursery, stay tuned for a blog on that.

For my outfit I knew I wanted a white dress and found the perfect dress at H&M, since it was backless and not appropriate for church I wore a red bolero jacket over it. I was channeling Jackie O,lol. My shoes were Badgley Mischka and to die for.

Overall the most important part of the day is my daughter was dedicated. My husband and I will dedicate our lives to raising our daughter in the eyes of the Lord and making sure we set a great foundation for her. I feel truly blessed to have her in my life.

Face The World

Hi Ladies & Gents

So this blog is for all my graduates out there! I have quite of few of my blogging buddies that just graduated College and are now on the job hunt, so I was excited to be a part of a brand new program, Face the World that Procter & Gamble (P&G) launched. Aussie, Covergirl and Olay Fresh Effects with the support of LinkedIn will help educate college students on how to professionally define themselves online to help appeal to prospective employers.I Think this program is great and wish when I graduated someone guided me on how to define myself.

A lot of people underestimate first impressions and the power of the internet. LinkedIn is a way for employers to seek potential employees and it is very important to have a great professional picture on your profile. Remember this is potentially a first impression so you don't want a duck face picture on your profile, this is not one of your social media pages that you can joke around about.

So what defines a good LinkedIn profile picture... you want to make sure you look professional, but still yourself. You definitely don't want to go overboard with your makeup, and a simple style hairdo is perfect. A nice blazer is great touch. Don't go wild with your hair, a simple bun or simple curls are a great look.

Here are some quick tips for created a great look for an interview or your LinkedIn profile picture.
