My Easter Beauty Look/ featuring Paula Dorf Aztec City Eyeshadow Palette & Paula Dorf Teal Mascara

Hi Ladies & gents
I cant believe Easter has come and gone. Its crazy how time is just flying by. I look at my daughter and just want to cry because she is growing so fast. I'm truly trying to just enjoy every moment of each day with her. Do you guys love how her toys have taken over my dining room.lol. I plan on creating a play room soon in my home because its out of control.
Anyway I decided to share with you guys our Easter looks. I had a mommy and me outfit all setup but decided to nix it and go casual because the prior day was  long and exhausting, so in no way did I want to dress up. I actually like how both our outfits turned out. Her outfit clearly is better than mine. I  got her tutu on Thursday and received it Friday from the lovely +Egreis Gjergjani (StilettoMeUp) and it worked perfect with the little bunny ears I made her. I topped her look off with a cute vest I got on sale currently at Gap outlets.

Check out below details of my outfit and beauty look using  Paula Dorf Aztec City Eyeshadow and PalettePaula Dorf Teal Mascara.

"From the desert sand to the crisp blue sky this Aztec City Palette has it all! With just the right balance of professional and flirty, this palette lets you decide between knockout nudes, classy colors, or a mesmerizing mix of both. These five shades allow you to customize your look and transform your mindset to the bronzed beauty of the desert." I actually use the neutral color for my everyday look.

With this palette and Mascara you can go dramatic or stay subtle. I chose to stay subtle. This Palette is great to use for every look, whether you are going on a night out or to work, there is a shade for each occasion. I love that the mascara brings out the blue shadow which I decided to use under my eye for a subtle pop.
Stay tuned for a Youtube video featuring my friend Benita from BeautyGlamArtistry .We will show you how to use this palette and much more. Paula Dorf Cosmetics created a high quality, long-wearing, easy to use color cosmetic line that is designed for every woman.  Their makeup philosophy is to empower women and is captured best in our signature phrase: Become your own makeup artist®.
I wanted to embrace spring and being that I had a low key Easter Sunday, I decided to go casual with my look.
My Top and Blazer were purchased last year from Forever 21 but you can  find some options still at Forever 21.
My jeans are from H&M( currently in  stores) and my cute bunny flats are from YRU Shoes.

Mommy and Me mall trip

Hello Ladies & Gents

So lately I have gotten the question of how I plan my mommy and me outfits with Annabelle. It really isn't something that is hard for me to do, because I remember what I have in both our closets. The trick is simply memory. You really have to remember what items are in your closet, so when you are out at stores if one or the other doesn't have a piece to match, you can purchase it. Another trick is getting simple pieces like denim , you can always find a denim shirt, jumpsuit or dress.

Matchy matchy necessarily doesn't have to mean that either, you can work off the colors of yours or your child's outfit to make it a mommy and me outfit. Either way you should have fun with planning your mommy and me outfits and make it about you and the baby/child. As Annabelle gets older I know there will be a point she will not want to do this with me, but at least I can have the memories to look back on.

Anyway this mommy and me outfit was actually not even planned, I wanted to get out of the house so I just whipped up this outfit quickly so we can go to the mall. I usually plan the night before but this was so last minute and the funny thing its probably my favorite because she looks so darn cute. She had so much fun running around Gap and dancing, which she absolutely loves doing by the way. I know everyone says there kid is such a natural, but literally she dances at any sound of music. I plan on putting her in dance school to see if she likes it when she is 2 or so, but for now I can enjoy her moves.

Check out some pictures of our little date with Glamma at the mall and stay tuned for a more of NYFW and my LA trip.

Mommy I was having a good nap. Stroller is Stokke scoot.

She loves walking around and exploring.
Once she found this mirror, it was over. She loves dancing in front of it.

Mommy And Me Macarons (Halloween 2014)

Hi Ladies & Gents,

I hope you all had a fabulous Halloween weekend. I had a very lovely Halloween with my mini me. As you can tell I love dressing up for Halloween. Prior to my daughter being born, I would think about my costume for a year and would have more than one costume. For me its always fun to dress up. I was 8 months pregnant last year  for Halloween, so I didn't have the energy to create a costume for myself and this year to be honest I was more excited about dressing her up. I wasn't going to dress up at all until I saw fellow blogger Songs of Styles throw back Thursday picture  on IG of her as a macaron and knew I had to do a  mommy and me version.  Of course you know I went on Pinterest and found this cute little tutorial from Studiodiy.com I literally spent a total of one hour on both mine and Annabelle's costume. Obviously Annabelle's is way cuter, but I was pretty proud of myself as it was my first attempt at making these.

Below are some pictures of our mommy and me costumes. Fyi these costumes are not for carrying a baby, hence why our pictures are separate. I paired my costume with a wig I had from a prior years costume. Overall I am happy how our costumes turned out. I hope you guys like them too.
Stay tuned for some fun mommy and me post and fun collaborations for Annabelle's birthday month.

Peace & Love
